Calling all health-conscious eaters! The Greener Kitchen storefront opened in Pigtown in 2018, which means you now have access to all the healthy, sustainable, and 100% plant-based foods used by vegan eatery favorites like Red Emma’s.
A jack of all trades, The Greener Kitchen is a deli with dine-in tables, caterer, and distributor to local businesses. Oh, and did we mention they’re also the first vegan kitchen incubator on the East Coast?
Stop by the deli and cooperative kitchen to pick up meat-free proteins, dairy-free cheeses, sauces and dips, and prepared grab ‘n go foods that are all packing some serious flavor. Not only will you be fueling your body with good-for-you grub, you’ll be shopping local and supporting the plant-based chefs cookin’ up a storm in the co-working kitchen. Originally a co-op of plant-based Baltimore businesses known as PEP Foods, The Greener Kitchen is on a mission to help the local community (and beyond) thrive by providing better access to healthier, plant-based food options at affordable prices. Now that’s something we can get behind.
