    Fast-casual, Pacific-inspired restaurants are having a moment here in Boston. Love Art Poke is the latest to join the list and officially opens its first location January 17 on Beverly St. in the West End. Focusing on Hawaiian marinated raw fish, the 100% gluten-free kitchen will feature dishes built on bases of brown or white rice. The poké options will include spicy tuna and salmon with red cabbage, jalapeño, green peppers, scallions, and shoyu dressing, along with sesame miso tuna with pickled vegetables. Don’t worry — there are plenty of vegan options too and a whole selection of sauces, making sure everyone gets exactly what they want.

    A new healthy cafe is now open in Downtown Crossing. Dubbed Café Bonjour, the new spot is focused on giving its customers real food. All of the ingredients used in their all-day brunch fare are ethically grown, locally sourced, and organic when possible. They also pride themselves on serving free-range meat and dairy, wild-caught fish, and have several options for vegans, vegetarians, and those of you who are gluten-free, paleo, and keto. With items like tartines (fancy word for toast), sandwiches, crepes, and smoothies on their extensive menu, Café Bonjour has something for everyone.

    If you’ve ever taken a class at EverybodyFights in the Seaport, you know their workouts are no joke. But now, the gym is making recovery a priority as well. Members will now be able to take advantage of the gym’s brand new recovery room located on the second floor, complete with NormaTec compression sleeves, Hypervolt percussion therapy guns, and foam rollers. The space will also include black recliners as well as mood lighting, aiming to give participants a moment to pause and refresh before or after their workout.

    With a capped membership, the Back Bay's exclusive Lynx Fitness Club health club offers top-of-the-line strength and cardio equipment, group fitness classes, and a Topgolf Swing Suite. Now, given the high demand, the club will be renovating through early 2020 to add more space and offerings. This includes a new floor layout with more functional training space, new Rogue racks and other training equipment, a 1,300-square-foot expansion making room for a new yoga, barre, and mindfulness studio, and finally, a smaller studio space that will offer a new private training experience.
