  • 🚲 Sweet New Ride

If you’re looking for the Turnstyle location in Woburn, you need to look down the road. Earlier this month, the cycling favorite up and left Cummings Park to take up residence in the swanky new fitness center of Unicorn Park. New studio space, bigger locker rooms — the works. On top of that, Turnstyle just outfitted ALL of their Boston-area studios with new bikes, and all we can say is wow.

  • 💪 Power Moves

Early February marked four years for MYSTRYDE, and the boutique treadmill studio is showing no sign of slowing down. If you missed it, the brand’s talented cast of trainers are offering their signature HIIT and strength session, Power X, at lululemon Newbury St. on every Thursday. And back at the North Station studio, you’ll find an extra Power Stryde class on the schedule, plus brand new Rogue dumbbells to throw around during your workout.

  • ☀️ Superfood & Sunshine

It was only a year ago that BC students were raving about spoonfuls of sunshine; now, it’s the Northeastern campus that’s singing Playa Bowls’ praises. The beach-inspired smoothie bowl spot started slinging its acai, pitaya, coconut, and chia superfood bowls at the new location in December, and we can’t get enough. Not to be missed: The BAE BOWL, available until the end of February.

  • 🎶 D-A-N-C-E

Surely, no one will be forgetting the J.Lo/Shakira halftime show anytime soon. And Equinox’s timing is impeccable, as they just announced that their newest dance-based fitness class, Choreo Cult, has landed in Boston. Available at all of its Boston-area health clubs, the 50-minute, total-body workout is as much HIIT as it is hip-hop. And all you need is one resistance band, one mat, and one pair of weights to tone and turn up.

The Daily Market has finally opened its doors on Savin Hill Ave., and it’s more than just your average convenience store. A lot of their food is grab and go, no doubt forward thinking since they’re located right across the MBTA stop on the Red Line. That means it’s the perfect spot for commuters to grab a cup of coffee or a smoothie in the morning, a salad or grain bowl for lunch, and get healthy vegan, vegetarian and grain-free makings for dinner on the way home.

Boston’s beloved plant-based food truck, Bartleby’s Seitan Stand, is leaving Mass. and moving to Arkansas. Since 2018, Bartleby’s has been on a mission to empower people to do good for themselves, the animals, and the planet — one meal at a time. Their delicious Southern-inspired fare is enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike, and we’re sure it will do the same down South.
