Working out doing the same routines can get a little mundane. A squat is a squat and a push-up is a push-up. But have you ever wondered what it feels like to fly? You don’t have to anymore!
Now you can experience the weightlessness of floating through air for yourself at Swet Studio. They totally mix it up by bringing your exercise to the hammock—talk about a whole new level of core training.
The AntiGravity classes (that’s what they call them) allow you to improve upon your flexibility, strength. and stability in a totally different way. You’ll soon be put to work muscularly (long and lean!), for endurance, and, we’re serious, mentally. And there are eight methods for you to test your ability in the hammock, including the Beginner classes, Yoga, Meditations, Core, Barre, Fit, and even Pilates!
Zero coordination? Don’t stress — the classes are capped at 15 people to make sure everyone can get individualized attention. We promise you’ll always have assistance from the instructor when you need it.
Still unsure if AntiGravity is for you? No swet. There are three additional classes that don’t involve the hammocks at all. Choose from Row, Abs, and FullBody to still get the Swet Studio experience while keeping both feet firmly on the ground. Perhaps you can give the hammocks a gander while you’re there—you know, just to try it out and see what it’s like.
Before you show up at Swet, there are a few things you need to know for an AntiGravity class, and we’re here to make sure you have all the deets. For starters, you must wear a long sleeve shirt, no metal (aka jewelry) is allowed, and you’ll be barefoot. And do we have to say this? Don’t be late! The instructor needs to help you set up your hammock—believe us, you don’t want to be THAT person rushing into class and holding everyone up. Lastly, a Fitt tip: There are no showers at this studio (don’t forget your body wipes).
Well now, looks like you’re cleared for takeoff. Are you ready to get your Swet on?
