Are you an adventure junkie who’s constantly looking for the next challenge to take on? Or have you always secretly had ambitions to level-up your outdoorsmanship but didn’t know where to begin?
Introducing BKBX — a one-of-a-kind training center and the start of your next journey.
BKBX is the latest addition to Brooklyn Boulders and it’s opening in Allston, MA in late-winter 2019. It’s the first-ever adventure training center to help you progress toward your goals and dreams of getting off the grid. The methods used at BKBX are all scientifically backed and purpose-oriented to enhance your adventure training. The four foundational pillars that guide BKBX are Train, Connect, Recover, and Adventure.
Collectively, they’re a purposeful mix to help prep you for your own purpose. They believe the most productive path to improving performance is directly linked to the reason behind why you train. And they’re here to help you conquer your why.
And in order to be your best self and take on the next adventure, you need to train like the best in the best facility. BKBX will be equipped with an extensive bouldering wall, climbing training center, state-of-the-art recovery center, innovative 50-minute classes that are both on and off the ground, and the latest technology and programming. Some other amenities include men’s and women’s locker rooms, showers, juice and snack bar, and a retail shop.
Of course, training for an outdoor adventure needs some component of real-world experience, so BKB Wild is offering excursions and expeditions to put your capabilities to the test, too. Let’s just say things just got real.
BKBX wants to make sure everyone has the ultimate experience when visiting their training center. That’s why they’re limiting the number of people let in at any one time — so, book your reservation in advance. This ensures the environment stays controlled and each person training can focus on their goals without worrying about anyone or anything getting in the way.
You’ll also have access to all in-house training experts for their assistance at any given moment, guiding you from first-time orientation and goal-setting to your pre-adventure tune-up and recovery.
Planning to climb El Capitan or just getting backpack-ready for Boston’s Blue Hills Reservation, no adventure is too big or too small at BKBX. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, become part of the BKBX community, and reach your goals one step at a time. Check out the website for all the latest info, opening details, and Founder’s Membership deals, and start thinking up which mountains you want to climb.
