Life Alive

Restaurant

Since opening its doors in 2004, Life Alive has been winning hearts with their organic, plant-forward menu featuring mouth-watering items and ingredients designed to “feed your vitality”.

There’s no question that when it comes to plant-based food; Life Alive knows how to do it right. That’s why it comes as no surprise that they’re set to open the doors to their fifth location this summer in Back Bay, replacing an Au Bon Pain on Boylston with something fresh (and a little out of character).

ALIVE AND AMPLIFIED

Life Alive’s new space will stay true to its roots, inviting customers to settle in and stay while they nourish their bodies and minds with ethically-sourced foods and beverages (meaning the environment gets a similar boost!).

But unlike some of their other locations, their new home will ditch the eclectic and colorful vibe of old and offer something much more sleek and minimalistic. Consider the elegant Brookline location that opened in September 2018 to be a dip of the toes for Life Alive’s future and incoming Back Bay as a cannonball. It’s Life Alive: refined — think flexible seating, fresh produce displays, an open kitchen, and a modern non-alcoholic beverage bar.

The inviting new layout will provide the perfect oasis in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Boston. So, if you’re someone looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this spot will likely be your go-to.

While the fine-tuned space itself is a huge draw, it’s Life Alive’s iconic drool-worthy eats that will keep you coming back for more. Making the jump to their newest kitchen, the menu will feature all the favorites, especially their wheatgrass shots, CBD-infused and Intelligentsia coffee, as well as their infamous activated charcoal-infused chocolate lattes.

But culinary director and chef Leah Dubois tells us that she’s particularly excited about the additions to the smoothie bowl and açaí bowl category, though, she wouldn’t divulge the juicy details just yet. She also plans on making some waves with this location's new free-spirited cocktail menu. A new variety of elixirs, teas, and healthy mocktails with essential oils will cater to all your needs, whether that’s needing a boost of energy or much-needed chill pill.

MEET US ON BOYLSTON

Life Alive’s new location plans on making the most of entering a new neighborhood and community — so, prepare to see them partner with nearby yoga studios, fitness brands, and health and wellness spaces to provide you with the most elevated wellness experience.

Find them on 431 Boylston St. sometime in June, and follow them on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates on their cool new space and exact opening date.
