Home of create-your-own stir-frys and salads, everything at honeygrow in Seaport and Fenway is made from scratch and fully customizable. Which means their creative approach to nourishing foods makes eating here easy for those with gluten-intolerances (all gluten-free options are clearly labeled on their menu). Fill your bowl with delicious local and seasonal produce — all of their stir-fry bases (rice noodles, brown rice, and lettuce cups) are all gluten-friendly. Not in the mood to customize your meal? The Red Coconut Curry Stir-Fry and the Spiralized Beet Caesar Salad will surely not disappoint!
Nebo Cucina & Enoteca
When it comes to authentic Italian cuisine, gluten-friendly options can be few and far between. This is not the case at Atlantic Wharf-side eatery, Nebo. Since they first opened 10 years ago, sisters and owners Carla and Christina Pallotta have made it their mission to always provide an extensive, separate gluten-free menu for hungry Bostonians. From their Fra Diavolo pasta with lobster, shrimp and spicy marinara and Bobby Flay Throwdown-winning Zucchini Lasagna to over 10 different kinds of pizza, Nebo has your gluten-free palate covered. And don’t worry about cross-contamination — they use a different set of kitchen appliances and countertops when prepping gluten-free meals.
Over in the North End, Benevento’s is also serving up flavorful, gluten-free Italian cuisine. Do yourself a favor and start with their crispy GF breadsticks and Grilled Fig Salad. Oh, and their specialty pizzas like the Victoria (shrimp scampi), Vodka Classic, and Vanessa’s Pesto are all served hot and fresh on a gluten-free crust. Want a gluten-free pasta dish? They can do that, too. With a variety of specialty gluten-free pasta options like bolognese, primavera, carbonara, and puttanesca, you’ll never go hungry here!
Myers + Chang
For a creative, upscale Asian-inspired meal, head to Myers + Chang in the South End and order off their tasty gluten-free menu — it’s almost as expansive as their regular menu. And thanks to their family-style small plates, you can try a little bit of everything. Sink your fork into dishes like Garlic and Ginger Fried Rice and Chicken and Broccoli Chow Fun. Bring your entire crew — in addition to a gluten-free menu, they also offer vegetarian, shellfish-, and nut-free menus.
