Calling All Yogis! Wanderlust 108 is Headed to Boston This August

If you’re totally hooked on the feeling you get after a run or those post-yoga vibes then prepare yourself — because Wanderlust’s mindful triathlon is coming to Boston August 18 and 19. Yeah, excited is an understatement.

Get ready for an entire day devoted to wellness and mindfulness that will clear your head, strengthen your body, and fill you to the brim with feel-good energy.

    Come together with some new friends for a 5k run/walk, DJ-powered yoga, and relaxing meditation that you’ll be talking about days after you’ve rolled up your yoga mat.

    First, you’ll make your way over to the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell between 7am and 8am to check in. Then ease into a warm up session led by an adidas x Wanderlust run leader who will have you ready to put your toe on the starting line. But remember, this day is all about community, not competition. So if you want to run, walk, skip, dance, or prance — go for it! It doesn’t matter how you get to the finish line as long as you’re able to make it to your mat in time for the next leg: yoga.

    You’re energized (and maybe a little sweaty), but the celebration is just getting started. It won’t be hard to find your rhythm with DJ Taz Rashid guiding you through an all-levels 90-minute flow that’s equal parts yoga practice and dance party next to your new best friends.

    A little before noon, it’s time to settle in for a calming, 30-minute guided meditation session. No worries if you’ve never meditated before, spiritual leader Noah Levine will be there every step of the way to ensure you’re completely relaxed. Think of it as the ultimate opportunity to focus your thoughts and live in the moment.

    Okay, so you’ve treated your mind, body, and soul, but don’t head out just yet. Stay for awhile and hang out on the lawn or try your hand at aerial yoga, acroyoga, and hooping. While you’re at it, replenish your body with a picnic lunch or grab a wholesome, gluten-free rice bowl (aka a Wanderbowl). And don’t forget to take a lap around the Kula Market to pick up some fresh gear.

    We’ll give you 108 reasons to block out either of the two event days—August 18 or August 19—on your calendar. Boston are you ready? And this year, Wanderlust is giving you the opportunity to snag a ticket or purchase one of two new packages. Both packages get you a ticket, some swag, and bonus activities. No matter which option you choose, part of the cost of every ticket will be donated to (RED), the Global Fund to Fight AIDS. But there are a limited amount of tickets available per city, and prices rise monthly, so hurry up reserve your spot.
