We’re always happy to welcome a new fit friend to town. So, of course we were stoked when Philly-fave Bulldog Yoga set up shop right in the heart of Boulder. We wanted to know the scoop — and you probably do, too!
Bulldog gets that yoga can emit an exclusive vibe and be a little overwhelming. Especially in a town like Boulder, where it seems everyone can rock the stretchiest of yoga pants and pop into crow pose on command.
So, they set out to change that. Their goal is to make yoga more approachable and accessible. The mood is happy and uplifting, not serious and stoic. But don’t be fooled into thinking that the friendly and supportive environment is all zen’d out Savasanas. Bulldog doesn’t shy away from pushing you to your limits — whatever those may be.
Their lineup of classes includes everything from Bulldog Basics for the newbie, to Invigorate and Exhilarate, which will have your heart pumping and muscles shaking. No matter what you pick, you’ll leave with a clear mind and a happy bod.
When it comes to music, Bulldog doesn’t mess around. Don’t believe us? Check out their playlists on Spotify. Bulldog believes in the benefit of solid tunes to back a mind-body connection, so they enlist musicologists (for real) to craft the perfect selection of sounds for each class.
Scope ‘em out for yourself with five classes for only 29 bucks (or $23 if you’re a student). They’re sitting pretty right along Pearl Street Mall — on 9th St., between Pearl and Walnut.
