Mark Your Calendar: Orangetheory’s First-Ever Stadium Challenge is Going Down at Folsom Field

Sure, the summer race season might be winding down, but we’re here with a brand new one to help you keep things going. But this isn’t just any old 5k.

Keep those kicks at the front of your closet, because Orangetheory Fitness is hosting the first-ever Stadium Challenge at Folsom Field on October 13. Nope, you don’t need to be a member. And yep, your muscles are gonna be burning (in a good way).

Get your rear in gear

You won’t be jogging around the streets of Boulder for this 5k — it’s a stadium challenge, after all. Get those glutes in gear, you’ll be hitting exactly 5,310 stadium stairs over the course of the run (or walk) around Folsom Field and the Balch Fieldhouse track.

Intimidated by the 5k distance? No sweat. Okay, still some sweat. But you can go halvsies and sign up for the 2.5k distance option instead. Yes, that means fewer stairs — 2,750 to be exact.

Go all out

In true Orangetheory form, the race has an “all out” 100-yard sprint down Folsom Field. This portion will be timed separately from the rest of the 5k, so you can hang onto that one in your PR bank

Register as an individual or as a team — either way, prepare to be challenged!
