This East 6th steakhouse is all about sourcing local and organic ingredients. And since most paleo-eaters love a good piece of meat, Urban Farmer has you covered with just about every part of a cow you could ever want. But if red meat isn’t your thing, they also have chicken, duck, fish, and plenty of greens for a balanced paleo meal no matter the time of day.
If you frequent Tremont’s Fahrenheit, you’ll notice their menu always seems to be different. That’s because their head chef changes its selections every six weeks to keep Tremont stomachs on their toes. However, they do have house signatures that will rock your paleo socks off. Rip into their Kobe Beef Short Ribs or Rocco’s Black Truffle Meatballs (formed with veal, pork, and beef) as an appetizer and you’ll leave full and satisfied.

It’s filled with fried eggs, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, bok choy, onion, and your choice of protein. But if you’re not an early riser, you can always try their bone broth soups, zucchini noodle BOLs, or salads. Better still, you can create your own BOL, adding paleo-friendly ingredients conveniently marked on the menu.
Dining at Cleveland Chop on St. Claire Ave. makes us feel fancy (even when it’s just a normal Tuesday). Keep it paleo by keeping it simple. Here, you can choose between any piece of beef they have to offer (NY strip, boneless ribeye, petite filet, etc.), or you can try some of their favorites like the tenderloin tips or the Berkshire pork chop. Pair it with a fresh vegetable and a cold glass of water, and your night is set.
You won’t need to hunt and gather for paleo-friendly dishes at Forage Public House. The menu is endlessly customizable, indicating where substitutions can be made. If you need to know where to look, order off of the “All Day Menu”, which includes locally sourced steak, roasted salmon, and beef brisket bowls.
If you’re dining out with a group of dietary sensitive eaters, Johnny Mango’s is a must-visit. From gluten-free to vegan and paleo, nearly all the plates at this all-day cafe and brunch spot can be augmented. Strict paleo diners should go for the grilled steak salad, jerk chicken, or grilled tuna — they’re all good choices.
pHuel Cafe, with locations on Euclid and Chester Ave., offers a simple, substitute-friendly menu that’ll satisfy even the pickiest of paleo eaters. The cafe believes in the power of nutrient-dense foods that balance a person’s pH, which keeps joint pain and inflammation at bay.
