What do you get when you mix a team of wellness warriors, yogis, and creatives? We have the scoop.
Introducing Pop Life, a community-oriented, collaborative space nestled in the vibrant Waterloo Arts District that features a yoga studio, healthy cafe, gallery, and retail space.
When founder—and Shaker Heights native—Joda Mueller made his voyage back to Cleveland after a stint in Northern Cali, he knew he wanted to shake things up in his hometown. So, he got to work and began building a place where creativity, wellness, art, design, and community collide.
Mueller’s vision for Pop Life was to provide a place where locals and visitors alike could be inspired and encouraged to lead healthier, more sustainable, and more conscious lifestyles. But he also wanted to create a space for connection and discovery amongst Cleveland creators and members of the community. And if you ask us, he nailed it.
It’s hard to miss the now colorful, mural-covered facade of the former Key Bank building on the corner of Waterloo and E. 156th. And trust us — you definitely don’t want to! One visit and you’ll be hooked on the good vibes, unique design aesthetic, and welcoming atmosphere at Pop Life.
Inside, you’ll find an art gallery, wellness boutique, organic cafe, and juice bar—Ritual Juicery, to be exact—and a yoga studio offering a variety of daily classes.
Unroll your mat in everything from power Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini, and even color therapy yoga practices. Post workout, hang out and refuel with a cold-pressed juice or healthy snack (hey, avocado toast topped with microgreens and watermelon radish). Just be sure you don’t head home without getting an eyeful of some of the unique artistic works and collaborative creations from area designers like DittoHouse.
Whether you want to relax, work, sweat, or discover other makers within the community, Pop Life is the place to do it. They’re open daily for juice breaks, yoga classes, pop-ups, and more. Check out their website for hours, class schedules, and upcoming events.
