  • 🚲 High Ride In Your Living Room

Move over Peloton, High Ride is coming for your living room. That’s right — thanks to a partnership with at-home bike Stryde, you’ll now be able to clip in and ride with High whenever you want. High Ride is one of five studios in the country selected for a spot with Stryde and will be making boutique cycling accessible to riders across the country. Stay tuned for more, and in the meantime, check out their studios in the Highlands and Northglenn!

  • 🍳 Better Brunch Bites

There can never be too many spots to brunch around the Mile High. Especially when the place has plates that won’t put you into a fog for the rest of your day. So, we’re pretty excited to welcome Urban Egg to the Cherry Creek scene. Based in Colorado, this’ll be the breakfast chain’s first metro location (you can already find ’em in the Springs and ‘burbs). Urban Egg focuses on sourcing locally, so expect Colorado eggs, Deby’s gluten-free pancakes, Polidori sausage, Aspen Baking Co. sweets, Mountain High yogurt, and more. Oh, and there’s also a bloody mary bar.

  • ⚡️ Rise Nation Returns

Rise Nation came to Denver last summer, opening up studios in both Cherry Creek and the Highlands. Not long after, the Highlands closed and DTC opened. We know — it’s a lot to follow. But we do have one more update, and we think you’ll be happy about it. Rise Nation is reopening in the Highlands on March 1, 2020!** **Get ready to hop on a VersaClimber for a seriously efficient sweat sesh.

  • 🎿 Breaking Backcountry Barriers

Resorts are crowded, so naturally, the backcountry is cool. But backcountry skiing can be a little intimidating for the newbie, so two Colorado guys want to make it more accessible. Bluebird Backcountry will open later this month at Peak Ranch. The liftless ski area between Kremmling and Steamboat Springs will have 300 acres that can be accessed without a guide and another 1,200 acres that require hiring a Bluebird guide. Unlike your typical backcountry, Bluebird won’t be free. You can snag a day pass for $50 or a season pass for $250. First-timers can also grab a day pass, lesson, and rental package for $190.

  • 🙌 In The Name Of Wellness

There’s more to wellness than fitness right? Well, duh. We know that, and so does Compass Fitness (who's already known for their HIIT, strength, and boxing classes). That’s why we’re super jazzed about their new concept: Compass Wellness. Opening just 2.5 blocks north of their OG location on Broadway, the studio will be home to some different class formats (like yoga, barre, Pilates, and dance cardio), plus cool new wellness offerings like body work, hydration, and nutrition!

  • 🍕 Plant-Based Pizza

A Breck-born pizza spot has built quite a following from the plant-based crowd in Summit County, and they’re about to spread the love. Piante Pizzeria is bringing its vegan pizza to Denver! Get ready for New York-style, wood-fired pizzas with organic, local, and seasonal toppings, homemade sauces, multiple dairy-free cheeses (like smoked cashew mozzarella and house-made ricotta), plus meat-free options like shiitake mushroom bacon. They're easing into Denver with a series of pop-ups before opening the door to its brick-and-mortar spot, but stay tuned for its location and opening date!

  • ➕ Another AKT

It hasn’t been long since AKT dropped into Cherry Creek. And it didn’t take them any time at all to realize that Denver is digging what they do. Now, the dance fitness brand created by celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser is opening a second location in RiNo! Get ready to break a sweat, bust a move, and tone all the things. Stay tuned for presale opps and an opening date!

  • 🍩 Matcha, Mochi, And More

A brand-new bakery is headed our way from Berkeley (the one in California, not the Highlands). Third Culture Bakery serves up better-for-you baked donuts, plus premium matcha, and their famous Mochi Muffin. Why do we like ’em? Because they care a whole lot about what they put (and don’t put) in their goods. The shop in the Aurora Cultural Arts District will be their first non-California outpost, and you can expect to start seeing the goodies by this summer.

  • 🎉 It’s Official: Sweetgreen Is Coming

Rumors have been swirling around the city that super-healthy, scratch-made salad chain Sweetgreen is headed our way. And now we’ve got more scoop — Sweetgreen has secured two Denver locations! They’ll be serving up their epic salads at 275 St. Paul in Cherry Creek and at The Coloradan (1750 Wewatta) in LoDo. Timing and more details are still TBD, but you better believe we’ll share ’em when we’ve got ’em!

  • ⬆️ A New Box To Jump

It isn’t every day that a CrossFit gym opens up. So, we’re kinda jazzed about this addition. One Beat CrossFit has opened its doors on South Parker Rd. in Aurora. The retro-themed box welcomes all ages and levels, hosting five supercharged WODs per day.

  • ☕️ Brews Times Two

We’ll never be bummed about another spot to grab a cup of coffee. And we’re especially buzzed about this one. The Molecule Effect is opening up a second shop in Wash Park. Set to open in mid-February at the new mixed-use space at Alameda and Downing, they’ll serve up sips like Kaladi Bulletproof coffee and local kombucha on tap, plus boozy brews and Share Good Foods eats.
