Get excited, Denver — we’ve got good news! Flower Child, a healthy fast-casual spot that splashed down in Boulder in August 2018, is now headed to Cherry Creek, joining a slew of other health-minded brands setting up in the neighborhood.
Flower Child is all about nutritious scratch-made food in a laid-back space. They’re owned by the same folks as True Food Kitchen, so if that’s your jam, you’re in luck. Like True Food, this isn’t the kind of place where you have to go searching for the healthy option on the menu, everything they offer is good for you. So, no matter what you order, you literally can’t go wrong.
You can grab and go if you want, but trust us — you’re gonna want to hang out. They’re serious about creating positive vibes and it’s apparent in everything they do — like having a “parking spot” at the door for your yoga mat, for example.
And when it comes to their food, there’s something for everyone at Flower Child. Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, paleo, or just hungry, you’ll find something to satisfy. Think grain bowls and salads loaded with the freshest and cleanest veggies and protein, plus buildable plates packed with flavor — we’re talking yuzu Brussels sprouts, Indian-spiced cauliflower, and red chili-glazed sweet potatoes. And to wash it all down? Expect fresh juices, local ‘booch, and cold brew on tap. Oh, and (organic) booze, too.
Ready to zen out and chow down? They’ll be serving up peace, love, and plenty of kale starting in (what Flower Child hopes to be) early-2020 in the newly-renovated east side of Cherry Creek Shopping Center (a former Safeway). Our recommendation? Pair a spicy SoulCycle class with a post-ride Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato plate.
