SOCIAL, YOGA, GROUP WORKOUT
If you live in Denver, chances are good that eating well, exercising, and getting outside rank high on your list of things to do — that’s sort of why we live in the Mile High city.
That’s why we’re super stoked to tell you about the Total Wellness Retreat hosted by the Wellness Team at HRRMC that’s taking place November 3–7. Far from your average getaway, this five-day, four-night stay in the Rocky Mountains is all about offering a holistic approach to wellness. Oh, and did we mention it’s going down at the incredible Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort in Nathrop, just two and a half hours from the city?
Wondering what you can expect? Whether your fitness journey has already spanned a lifetime or you’re just getting started, this is a chance to get serious about your health.
Before you launch into a jam-packed schedule of fun activities and curated programming, you’ll start with an overall health assessment. You’ll chat with health, fitness, and nutrition experts, set personal goals, and strategize about how to make meaningful lifestyle changes that will last long after your last dip in the hot springs.
Then, over the next few days, you’ll sit in on educational workshops and lectures, sweat it out in group fitness classes—including yoga, cycling, and strength training—go hiking among ponderosa pine forests, and de-stress during daily guided meditation sessions. All the while, you’ll be surrounded by friendly, like-minded people and some pretty epic views.
As an added benefit, there will be medical professionals and providers on hand, including dieticians, health and mindfulness coaches, and physicians specializing in everything from cardiology to internal medicine, that you can talk openly and candidly with — no referral or appointment required.
When you need to refuel, they’ve got you covered with a second-to-none selection of delicious, chef-prepared meals and snacks made with organic, locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. And since they’ve thought of everything, they’ll have options for every type of eater: vegan, vegetarian, raw, paleo, you name it.
Even better, each day ends with plenty of free time, so you can explore the surrounding trails, hop on a mountain bike, take advantage of the on-site spa services, or kick back in the natural hot springs and pools.
If you’re looking for an excuse to escape the city for a few days and are up for a truly empowering experience, then hurry up and secure your spot for the ultimate Total Wellness Retreat — spaces are limited. No worries if you can’t swing the whole excursion, either; single-day registration is available. Plus, this spring, you’ll get the chance to do it all over again when they hold another life-changing retreat at the same location on May 3-7, 2020.
Who knows, it might just become your new yearly tradition.
