While we’ve got lots of places to lay down a mat in the Mile High, the fun seems to focus more on the city than the suburbs. That is, until now. As part of a massive nationwide expansion, San Diego-born franchise YogaSix is setting up its very first Colorado studio, and they’ve set their sights just south of the city.
From California to Charlotte, YogaSix is working its way into communities across the US, opening clean, minimalistic studios (with appropriate mood lighting) that focus on producing specific body benefits — for all bodies. When asked what she wanted you to know about YogaSix, general manager of the new Centennial location Hollie Waterman didn’t hesitate: “We’re accessible to all,” she said, adding, “we strive to be empowering, fun, and inclusive.”
True to the name, YogaSix offers six different class formats. Break it down to the basics with Y6 101, focus on full-body strength with Y6 Power, heat things up with Y6 Hot, chill out with Y6 Slow Flow, add weights and build strength with Y6 Sculpt and Flow, and then stretch out all the things with Y6 Stretch.
With welcoming vibes and the spice of life—variety—no matter your age or experience level, there’s a space for your mat at the studio that encourages you to “Get Your Six On”.
YogaSix will be opening its doors this fall at Cherrywood Square shopping center (S. University and E. Dry Creek). But they aren’t stopping there. They’ve got big plans to keep the good vibes coming with several more locations planned for the South Denver area in the next year.
