If you’ve been to Los Angeles, New York City, or Washington DC, then you know about the infatuation with salad sensation Sweetgreen. The concept itself is as simple as the food, the chain has cultivated a transparent, sustainable, and local-minded ethos. It’s actually a mindset that a lot folks in Colorado share, too. And Sweetgreen must have recognized that because—here’s the huge news—they’re coming for us.
While the details are far from solidified or even common public knowledge, we’ve caught wind through a number of sources that they’re taking their scratch-made salad biz to Cherry Creek.
‘When?’ is another question entirely, but whenever during the year they do swing open their doors for their first lunch rush, you can expect something special from their seasonal menu. Rustic Tomato + Burrata with organic arugula, shredded kale, and za’atar breadcrumbs? Green Goddess + Avocado with chopped romaine, toasted almond, and their signature dressing? There’s a reason Sweetgreen is a daily habit for so many people in New York, Chicago, and Boston.
And Denver will no doubt follow suit. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge; we’ll be sure to keep you in the know.
