We all want to feel and look our best, but working out can be an expensive hobby. We are always longing for new yoga pants, fresh kicks, better headphones… but what we could really use are some free workouts to help keep our wallet happy, too. Well, gang, there are plenty of free workouts to choose from in Denver.
But hey, don’t take our word for it. Check out all these awesome fitness classes and workouts groups in Denver. Best of all, they won’t cost you a thing!
November Project Denver
Although this phenomenon started in Boston, November Project finally made their way to Denver. Join the “5280 tribe” in the center of town for hefty plyometrics, speedy sprints, stair climbs… and overall one of the best free full-body workouts you can find.
Civic Center MOVES
From April to October, catch your daily full-body (and yes, free) workout right in Capitol Hill. With a variety of meeting times and fitness genres (including yoga and strength-training circuits), Civic Center MOVES is truly accessible and available for anyone and everyone.
Check out the Athleta location in the most popular shopping area in Denver—Cherry Creek Shopping Center—for your fair share of free workouts. They offer everything from barre, yoga, and sculpt classes to sport-specific training, POUND, and bootcamp-style workouts.
Yoga Rocks the Park
If you don’t come for the live music, come to Yoga Rocks the Park for the amazing free class. Along with yoga, there are free meditation sessions, food and drink, wellness workshops, and vendors every Sunday morning during this entirely family-friendly event.
Runners Roost Run Clubs
Whether you’re getting serious about your training or just getting started, check out one of the seven meet-up locations with the crew from Runners Roost. Once per week, runners meet at the store locations, lace up their sneaks, and set out for a group training run. Runners Roost also teams up with the only marathon offered in Denver, the Colfax Marathon.
Rocky Mountain Road Runners
Looking for a little extra speed work? You can find RMRR every Wednesday evening at North High School hosting a quicker (and still free) workout including timed 400s and friendly competition.
Highland Run Club at HTB
Even during the winter, this running club takes their running (and drinking) seriously. Every Wednesday throughout the entire year, the group meets at Highland Tap & Burger for a 10k or a 5k followed by free pasta, salad, and 20% off select beers. Something your wallet will thank you for.
With millions of hiking paths right outside of Denver, it’s no surprise there is a group for free local spots. The Denver Trailheads is a group of over 5,400 hikers and adventurers looking to enjoy and explore the free outdoors (as it’s meant to be).
