Find the best healthy eats 🥗, sweat spots 💪, and outdoor adventures ☀️ in Houston.
Think rowing sounds boring and repetitive? Well, one class at Row House will flip that stereotype on its head! The franchise, which is gearing up to open its second Houston-area location in The Woodlands, packs variety into every class by incorporating dumbbells, stretches, and interval training. Plus, each of RH’s six signature classes clock in at only 45 minutes, making it easier than ever to squeeze in a sweat session. And with the opening of studio #2, our Fitt fam on the north side of town can now enjoy a much shorter commute!
Heights Mercantile now has a farmer’s market, where you can pick up fresh produce from Urban Harvest, Sustainable Harvesters, Atkinson Farms, and more local and regional suppliers. So, grab some friends (furry or otherwise) and spend some time in the sunshine while you peruse the stalls. The market is currently open the last Sunday of every month, with the possibility of expanded hours in the future. See you there!

Pressed Juicery—that juicery you've seen all over your Instagram feed—it's coming to Houston in early 2020. But they’re not just opening one location and calling it. Nope, the popular juice chain has two shops planned, one in Heights Mercantile and one in Rice Village. From cold-pressed juices to vegan soft-serve and cleanses, we’ve got a feeling these spots are about to become your new favorite place to get your healthy sip fix.
Get ready to skip the studio hopping and commit to what we predict will quickly become the only workout spot you’ll ever need: TruFusion. This soon-to-open Uptown studio offers 65 class options all under the same 12,000-square-foot roof. Seriously, name a class and TruFusion probably has it. Kettlebells? Check. Boxing? Check again. TRX, battle ropes, and hot Pilates? Yes, yes, and yes. Now all that’s left for us to do is wait for the doors to open!

It's no secret that cycling studios have taken over H-town, and the glute-burning craze is showing no signs of slowing. Rush Cycle is leading the charge, with plans to open new studios in Rice Village, Midtown, Humble, Bellaire, Cyprus, and neighboring Katy in the coming months — more than doubling their Houston locations. Whew! And CycleBar is also getting in on the action with a new Houston Heights spot that will open its doors on December 5, 2019.
