  • 🙌 Fitness For All

Spread the news! A crowdfunding campaign is raising money to launch the UK’s first fitness festival for the black community. Personal trainers Lorraine Russell and Donna Noble are the brains behind the one-day event known as NoireFitFest. And, if all goes according to plan, you can expect group workouts led by top instructors, informative talks, and products from all your favorite self-care brands.

  • ⛰️ Chalk Up!

Climbing is pitted to become London’s most popular workout in 2020. Luckily, there is a whole host of indoor climbing gyms where you can get in the action. One of our faves: The Climbing Hangar. Offering a diverse roster of classes, open climbing, and community events, there’s plenty of opportunities (and wall space) for bouldering newbies and pros alike to hone their skills. Head to their Parsons Green studio and see what all the fuss is about.

  • 🌱 Get Back To Nature

With warmer temps on their way, now is the perfect time for an adventure in the great outdoors. Our suggestion? A close-to-home stay at Elmley, England’s only national nature reserve that you can spend the night in. Just an hour outside of the city, the picturesque escape is equipped with dozens of cosy, off-grid, tiny-home-like cottages that are available to rent, plus beautiful country landscapes and diverse wildlife. So, book a few nights and spend the weekend roasting s’mores over an open flame.

  • 🥊 Boxing At Battersea

Go big or go home — that's the sentiment behind BXR’s upcoming studio, expected to open in 2021. Situated at the iconic Battersea Power Station, the 14,000-square-foot space will be their largest to date. Get ready for three pay-to-train concepts under the same roof: one for Sweat by BXR’s low-impact cardio workouts, another for strength and conditioning classes, and a third that combines boxing basics with endurance-focused exercises.

  • 💦 Work Out And Zone In

We’re stoked to announce the opening of Europe’s first-ever humming yoga studio in London. The new boutique venue, located inside Rumble Gym in Dalston, offers everything from hot yoga and Pilates to spinning and boxercise. But what makes it stand out from the crowd is that the workouts are set to a frequency that imitates the Earth’s natural rhythm, which is designed to encourage motivation and rejuvenation. Post sweat, make a stop at the on-site café for some delectable dishes created by Farm Girl’s Benoit Marmoiton.

  • 👑 Movin' On Up

D’ya want the good news or the bad news first? The bad news is, vegan fried chick’n spot Temple of Seitan’s Camden eatery has closed. The good news is, they’ve reopened in a new location! If you’re after some of the city’s best plant-based fast food—mac ‘n’ cheese, chick’n burgers, hot wings, and so much more—cruise by their Camley St. spot and bring your appetite.
