Whether you’re on the hunt for a liquid breakfast, a dose of vitamins, or a new place to chill out and relax, we’ve got your go-to list of must-try juice and smoothie spots sorted.
There’s nothing like a colourful, great-tasting juice or smoothie to start the day, and Detox Kitchen on Kingly St. and on Mortimer St. is where you can find one. And with creative names and delicious flavours—like the Fabulously Focused juice with carrot, apple, and ginger and the Avo Pina Banana smoothie with avocado, banana, pineapple, spinach, and rice milk—you can’t go wrong, no matter what you choose. The kitchen is more of a grab-and-go kind of place, though, so it's the perfect pit stop if you’re out and about shopping. Fitt Tip: their Mortimer St. store features a fitness studio in the basement, making it super easy to grab some pre- or post-workout fuel.
Name a superfood, Little H has it on their menu — and it’s ready to be added to any of their already nutrient-packed juices or smoothies. As the little sister café to Hally’s down the road, this Parson Green wonder is filling cups with good-for-you ingredients and blending to-die-for concoctions for your sipping pleasure. Their Cookies & Cream smoothie is heaven-sent, and their Flu Fighter juice is essential for when London’s cold weather inevitably hits!
You know the type of smoothie or juice you'd expect to get on a tropical island? Well, the closest you’ll get to that in London is from the team at CPress in Fulham and Fitzrovia. Their all-organic menu is packed with delicious smoothie and juice options, and their coffee-shop-meets-juice-haven vibe will make you want to hang out there all day. Not only that, they also have a range of juice cleanses and superfood boosters available, which have been thoughtfully crafted by nutritionists. Fitt Tip: CPress has smaller cafes inside triyoga studios in Chelsea and Shoreditch, so you can grab a post-savasana pick-me-up after class.
This trendy grab-and-go concept in Leadenhall Market, on Liverpool St., and in Shoreditch serves up a mean menu full of amazing health food grub. And although their Grilled Halloumi rice box or Pulled Lamb wrap alone are worth a trip, it's their delightful juices and thick, wholesome shakes that are the real stars of the show. Their Wake 'N' Shake with almond milk, banana double espresso shot, dates, and cacao will give you an extra pep in your step, while the Hangover Tonic juice with apple, grapefruit, lemon, and ginger is the ideal Sunday morning solution. With sips this good, we don't blame you if you come up with an excuse to stop by every day of the week.
This London staple is well known around the city, and it's all thanks to their huge selection of cold-pressed juices and juice cleanses that come in simple, sleek bottles (it’s the little things!). However, if you're not in the mood for juice, their smoothies, nut milks, and nut milkshakes are not to be overlooked. While their charming Soho café has become a go-to spot for healthy liquids, they also have locations at St. Paul’s and Selfridges food hall on Oxford St. that you'll want to check out. And we’d regret it if we didn't recommend their Charcoal Lemonade blend — it's deliciously different and one of our favourites. Fitt Tip: make sure you stop by during the week, these guys are closed on the weekends.
With 1.4kg of fresh, organic produce in every bottle of cold-pressed juice, consider this your one-stop shop for all your daily vitamin needs. Their G.L.O. juice—with grapefruit, lemon, and orange—is a taste of summer days. And you’ll get lost in their smoothie menu, which features the types of flavours you've always dreamed of (hello, Nut Butter Fudge). Want to know what an Iron Man smoothie tastes like? Well, looks likea a trip to their Chelsea or Notting Hill café is in order!
Okay, they are a chain, but let’s not hold it against these guys because they know their juices! Crussh has been juicing, squeezing, and blending for over 20 years, hydrating busy Londoners whenever the need arrises. Their menu is packed with raw juices and smoothies — it’s hard to choose just one, but (workout, or no workout) their Protein Power Super Smoothie hits the spot. Speaking of spots, did we mention they’ve got close to 30 locations across London? So, wherever you are, they won’t be far!
At this health food haven in St. John’s Wood, Chelsea, Marylebone, Notting Hill, and Belgravia, you can grab hand-made almond or cashew milks, plus a huge variety of green juices and filling smoothies — which we think are some of the best in London! And if you’re one of those “no-funny-bits” kind of person, their no-pulp juices are exactly what you need. If you’re making the trip on a dusty Sunday morning, try their First Aid Shot on for size — you won't regret it.
Wild Food Café in Neal's Yard and Islington is your go-to for healthy sips. Their smoothie blends may seem a little unusual (fennel, say what?) but they're guaranteed to be tasty and their cold-pressed juices and tonics are hydration heaven. So pull up a chair at their communal seating space and order up a refreshing Twisted Orange with blood orange, pomegranate, and ginger for a relaxing afternoon well spent.
It’s all in the name! This global juice bar and coffee shop chain does—you guessed it—juice, and they do it well. You can find them on all the main drags in London, and you can always count on chill vibes and unique concoctions. Juices, shakes, 'Joeghurts', superfood shots, and coffee — they're all on the menu here. But if you need some help deciding what to order, we’re big fans of the Herb Tonic with turmeric, ginger, pineapple, red bell pepper, black pepper, and apple. Just trust us on this one.
Elephant Juice Bar is waiting to serve you your recommended five-a-day (and then some!) of fruit and veggies at their weekday stall in Whitecross Street Market. Even better, they’re always quick to get a cup in your hand, so you can browse the rest of the market and soak up the beauty of East London. In addition to Whitecross, they can also be found serving up their array of rainbow juices at music festivals and all your favourite markets around the city, so check their website to see where they plan to set up next. Oh, and try the Red Juice — it’s so sweet and delicious, you’ll forget you’re drinking vegetables!
Raw Press is living proof that juice has potential be the new coffee, and juice bars, the new coffee shop. It’s hard not to get excited about the huge range of juices they’ve got on offer at their Chelsea and King's Cross locations, but to narrow it down for you, the Coffee & Milk or Deep Rooted juices are a great shout. They don’t stop there, though! Colourful smoothies and peanut butter granola-topped smoothie bowls are an absolute must — they’re all so tasty, you'll need to dedicate a few mornings to trying them all.
Sourcing the ingredients from Portobello Market, it doesn't get any more home-made than this unless you do it yourself! The sips from this café in Portobello and in Camden Town pack a punch, with selections like the Green Machine, Flu Fighter, and Apple Aid keeping your immune system in check (a London essential!) and health shots to give you an extra boost when you're in need. And alongside their tasty creations, are a bevy of craveable smoothie flavours, including Pumpkin Pie, Naughty Snickers, and Watermelon Shake.
Bringing West Country vibes to the city, Daylesford’s juice bar is one you can’t miss. You can find this health-conscious mecca tucked away in their organic farm shop on Brompton Rd. in Chelsea. We say tucked away because everything is a little harder to spot at this epic farm shop that’s spread over THREE floors! Just as you’d expect, though, fresh, organic plant-based drinks and smoothies are on offer at here, as well as nut milk blends, functional waters, and superfood shots.
