If we told you that you could find an organic, farm-to-table dining destination on the outskirts of LA in Anaheim, you probably wouldn’t believe us. Well, we are here to tell you it now exists in a new and unexpected concept serving up clean, good-for-you eats in the Packing District’s Farmers Park.

Introducing Cultivation Kitchen, a greenhouse-turned-restaurant that is absolutely worth the trek.

First things first — the food. Cultivation Kitchen doesn't just feature an incredibly unique space, they're also offering a fresh take on the idea of farm-to-table dining. Instead of simply sourcing ingredients from area farmers and purveyors, their approach includes a “shovel-to-fork” philosophy, which means intentionally and mindfully selecting what goes into their dishes, or as they like to call it, crafting creative and health-forward meals made with “picked with a purpose” ingredients.

So no matter if you’re stopping by the fast-casual eatery for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can expect everything to be crafted using the highest quality fruits, vegetables, proteins, and spices. We’re talking organic baby lettuces, cage-free eggs, sustainably-sourced salmon, grass-fed steak, local honey, and herbs picked straight from their on-site garden.

And with an all-day menu called “It’s a Beautiful Day” and a breakfast menu called “Good Morning Sunshine” filled with bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, and salads, you’re sure to find something wholesome and delicious any time of day. We’re big fans of the Mix-n-Match Healthy Plates, which allow you to pick a naturally-raised animal protein or hippie-dusted tofu, and pair it with organic veggie sides like baked Japanese sweet potato or roasted rainbow carrots.

But the attention to detail doesn’t stop with the food menu! The beverage program features locally-sourced, loose-leaf teas, kombucha, and beer, plus organic and biodynamic wines. They also have their own CK-branded coffee line which is 100% Fair Trade.

Not only are they committed to eco-friendly practices, they also pay their employees a living wage, which means you won’t have to tip because it’s all covered in the price of the menu items. And if you do happen to leave a tip behind, it’ll be donated to local charities.

And we haven't even gotten to the space. With a repurposed greenhouse as their dining room and an open-layout interior, you’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors without giving up the comforts that come along with eating inside. Though, if you do want a true outdoor dining experience, you can eat on the patio, which also features a bocce ball court and three fire pits (we don’t blame you if you decide to stay for awhile). There's no question – whether you’re here for a full meal or a fun hangout, Cultivation Kitchen is the spot to be.

Pack your bags and head to the O.C. to try out this shovel-to-fork restaurant. Cultivation Kitchen is open Sunday - Thursday from 7am-10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 7am-12am.
