Miami might be known for its nightlife and art scene, but it may not be long until it’s also known for its vegan food. ICYMI, an all-organic, 100% vegan deli, The Plantisserie, has opened its first (and hopefully not only) storefront location in Little River, and it’s safe to say, we’re here for it.

#COOKINGWITHAPURPOSE

This isn’t your grandma’s old-school deli slinging quarter pounds of ham. Instead, The Plantisserie is reinventing everything you thought you knew about your neighborhood deli by putting a healthy spin on the traditional concept.

The locally-owned plant-based deli and lunch spot started as a meal plan company in 2015, partnering with their sister company, Artichoke Foods, to create and distribute their wholesale, organic frozen food line to the masses. Now, they’ve taken things a step further with the opening of their first official location.

FROM SOIL TO STORE

Stop by The Plantisserie, and you’ll find nothing but good-for-you dishes made with the best ingredients around (read: no additives, pesticides, GMOs, preservatives, or any ingredients you can’t pronounce). Made daily, every item on the menu is as fresh as the concept for a vegan deli. And with plenty of gluten-free, not to mention tasty options, The Plantisserie is sure to be your new go-to lunch spot. Fitt Tip: Do yourself a favor, and don’t sleep on the Vegan Ceviche or fresh-baked empanadas (the corn and cashew cheese is a must).

The deli’s light, airy interior only has a few seats inside, but if you can’t snag a table, they also offer take-out lunch options. And for those nights when you want an easy but healthy dinner, they’ve got you covered with frozen pizzas that you can pop right in the oven. While you’re there, make sure to browse some of their locally-made goods and products, like loose-leaf Yerba Mate and essential oils.

MEET-FREE MECCA

Can’t make it down to the store? No worries — you can find The Plantisserie on Uber Eats, Postmates, and Grubhub. And next time you’re catering an event, ditch the heavy, cheese-laden lasagna in favor of their pasta-free version packed with all sorts of veggies, or try their Mushroom and Lentil Pate de Foie. Their platters are so good that you’ll be tempted to say you cooked everything yourself.
