Peloton revolutionized the indoor cycling trend with their luxury bikes, treadmills, and at-home experiences. So, it should come as no surprise that the fitness giant tapped into yoga and meditation. Now open, the Peloton Yoga Studio found its home in the West Village in the same mega-studio that houses sister brand Peloton Tread Studio.
From power flows to more restorative sessions, the new mindful space offers multiple 45-minute yoga and meditation classes. New to crow pose? Try Yoga Basics, where you’ll be guided through short tutorials on specific poses, geared towards beginner yogis. More into meditation? Keep it simple with their Meditation class, where you’ll focus on breathwork. Or, book a spot in Guided Visualizations, where you’ll use search within your own mind and soul to strengthen your focus on your 2019 intentions or goals.
And if coming to a live class in NYC is out of the question, you’re in luck! Much like its cycling and treadmill-based bootcamp formats, you can access the sessions on demand with their Yoga and Meditation Anywhere series. These classes are designed specifically for the not-so-traditional yogi environment like your living room or office and available through their subscription streaming service Peloton Digital.
Starting at $20, newbies to Peloton can snag a spot in their NYC studio located at 152 Christopher Street through online booking. You could be one of 10 yogis in a class that reaches Peloton’s global community. Or if traffic, being sociable, or getting dressed aren’t on your agenda, get into downward dog wherever you live for $19.49 per month.
