17 Free Workout Groups And Fitness Classes in New York City

If you’re not careful (like, Excel spreadsheet careful), living in New York can get real pricey, real fast. Lyfts, subway rides, happy hours, brunches, concerts… all the perks of the city life also tend to do serious damage to your wallet. Thankfully, there are still plenty of ways to be active in NYC without spending a dime — or lurking behind a tree like you’re a character in Bridesmaids. From yoga classes to group runs, here are some of the best free workouts in the Big Apple.
