All The Best Sweat Spots in Phoenix Right Now

All The Best Sweat Spots in Phoenix Right Now

We love the outdoors in Phoenix. Most of the year, it’s hot. In summer? Just forget it — we’re talking cook-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk kind of hot.

So for those in the Valley of the Sun trying to stay active, we look for a sweat sesh indoors. There are a lot of options, but some gyms and studios stand out among the rest. A few even use the heat to their advantage!

Keep your summer bod fresh (and your routine just as fresh) all year long with our favorite gyms in Phoenix.

The Body Lab’s Megaformer is more like a mega-warrior. Literally, every class is designed to work your muscles to failure. But… you will be more toned than ever. This method works by using slow and controlled movements with constant tension, creating strong, slim muscles. No bulk here, ladies! Don’t be fooled by the stationary machine though — you will sweat. A lot. And grippy socks are required! Give it a go at the Arcadia or Desert Ridge locations.

CorePower Yoga is more than just yoga — it’s yoga fitness. Classes include different levels, combinations, and temperatures of power yoga, but the most popular class is definitely Yoga Sculpt. CPY likes to think of the Sculpt class as muscle meeting yoga. In a slightly heated room, you’ll be doing power flows followed by planks, squats, burpees, and more fun sculpting moves, with or without weights. To give you an idea of how CPY gets down, we’ll tell you that “Turnt Up Tuesdays” is the recurring Sculpt class at The Old Town Scottsdale location. But don’t just take it from us; check out what other fun themes the Chandler, Central Phoenix, and Tempe locations have!

And so you know, The Madison in Tempe is just as high-energy and fun.
