How does one simply choose a hot yoga studio with so many options in the Valley? Think of it this way: if you’re deciding between restaurants, you pick the one with the better menu! Simple as that.
Enter: The Biltmore Studio, where you feel like a new person after class.
The folks over at The Biltmore Studio believe their practice is more than just a work out; it’s a “work-in.” Yes, these instructors are giving you an amazing workout, that’s for sure.
But even further, they are empowering you to change your outlook on life — to take that “Dang, I just sweat out my entire body weight and I have never felt better” feeling and spread it around Phoenix. They know your name, they love the practice, and they want everyone to experience that incredible feeling. Everyone knows that your vibe attracts your tribe!
Honestly, this place gets as hot as Phoenix is August. We’re talking over 100º hot with 60-70% humidity. But we’re cool with it — the heat and humidity combo basically makes it way easier to stretch and get into those detoxifying poses.
The best part of The Biltmore Studio’s signature class, “Biltmore Hot,” is the flow series set to bumpin’ loud music. It’s a party in there for sure. And with six options a day at each location (Scottsdale and Phoenix), it’s easy to fit this 60- or 80-minute sweat sesh into your day. Fitt Tip: try Jordan’s class.
The party don’t stop at yoga here! You’ve probably heard of barre by now, but that’s regular barre — and The Biltmore Studio just topped it by adding heat. If you’re not familiar with barre, it is a combination of Pilates, yoga, and ballet moves designed to create lean and toned muscles. For hot barre, expect an all-out assault on your lower body, especially the booty and abs. Oh, and don’t worry — this room is only heated to about 90º! P.S. — those funny little grippy socks come in handy for this class if you seriously sweat (but aren’t required). Did we mention the music is great? It is. Plié to the beat, now!
And when you’ve had enough barre, The Biltmore Studio has an answer for that (they love to have fun). With events like wine and yoga at Postino Wine Cafe, brunch and yoga at Flower Child, or glow-in-the-dark flows, they really reinforce the fun-loving community feel.
Even if you’re not into 100º heat, who could say no to wine? Cheers to that, Biltmore crew.
