Foxy Fruit Bowls & Smoothies in Downtown Phoenix is a Health Food Haven

Calling all health-conscious foodies! You can now find former pop-up shop Foxy Fruit Bowls at their permanent home (or should we say repurposed shipping crate) at The Churchill, where they’re serving up picturesque superfood smoothies and bowls to the trendy local gathering ground in Downtown Phoenix.

Superfood Strong

If you’ve never tasted one of Foxy Fruit Bowls & Smoothies creations, prepare for a flavor explosion in your mouth. Not only does this women-owned business focus on using only whole food and high-quality ingredients that are designed to heal, but the entire menu is 100% plant-based and organic.

And if that’s not enough, the seasonal specials are whipped up using fruits and add-ins sourced from area farmers and purveyors. Hello Pom Berry Bowl featuring local pomegranates. The best part? The only sweetener they use comes from local AZ dates, which is something you and your sweet tooth can feel good about.

While the stunning acai and pitaya bowls are the shop’s claim to fame (make sure you top with their house-made gluten-free granola), there are plenty of other vegan treats and hand-crafted drinks on the menu. Enter: Bliss Balls, Mango Avocado Toast, Vegan Banana Ice Cream, and Pink Dragon Lemonade. In need of a pick-me-up? Foxy Fruit also serves cold brew from local roaster Awaken Coffee Goods, and slips it into The Morning Mix smoothie to put some pep in your step.

Fitt Tip: every Tuesday morning The Churchill’s courtyard turns into a zenned out fitness space, so stop by your new favorite smoothie spot pre or post workout to fuel up with a nutrient-packed snack.

Healthy Eats On Deck

The days of tracking down Foxy Fruit’s delicious, edible art are over (although they’ll likely still make welcome appearances at local events around the city). So the next time you’re feeling foxy, bring your appetite and your phone to this health food haven on North 1st St. downtown, because you’ll definitely want to snap a pic of these Instagram-worthy bowls.
