Finish this PGH 5K by Crossing Home Plate at PNC Park

Love to go for a run just as much as you love to watch your favorite Pirates players run the bases at PNC Park? Then we’ve got a double header for you! Bucs fans and avid runners alike are sure to enjoy the annual Pittsburgh Pirates 5k Homerun.

Taking place in mid- April, this event benefits Pirates Charities, the official philanthropy of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pirates Charities places an emphasis on strengthening the community through supporting health, fitness, and educational programs for youth in the PGH area.

PNC Park Homerun Pittsburgh Race

The 5k, as well as a one-mile family fun run, begin on Federal Street and end on the field at PNC Park. After the race, participants are invited to attend a party on Federal Street with complimentary food and drink! But wait, we haven’t even told you the best part.

All 5k participants will receive a tech t-shirt and voucher for a complimentary ticket to any one Pirates home game during the month of April! That’s quite the catch (pun intended.)
