If you’re in the market for health insurance, this is a pretty important time of year. That’s because Open Enrollment has begun.
What, you didn’t get the memo? Well, better late than never. Luckily, you still have time. And our friends at UPMC Health Plan put together a useful infographic to make sure you don’t overlook any other important health care enrollment dates.
We won’t downplay the importance of being insured—and Open Enrollment is absolutely the best time to do it—but we also know that sometimes life is crazy. The good news is that UPMC Health Plan won’t shut the doors on you if you go through some major changes or uncertainties outside of the Open Enrollment period, like if you had or adopted a baby, you got married or divorced, you lost your job, you moved to a new area, or you’ve aged out of your parents’ plan after turning 26. If you qualify, that’s what special enrollment is for: the only option after December 15.
Think healthcare is complicated? With UPMC Health Plan, it’s not. You got this.
