However, you might be surprised to know just how many healthy spots are hiding in plain sight.
CrossFitters, Cyclists and Chefs Unite!
With some help from the coaches at CrossFit Athletics (located just around the corner from OTB), Chef Brian Ross and Chef Chris Tyner created a healthy menu that taste good and is good for you.
What’s on the Menu?
Menu items include Gabe’s Cog Salad. Named for one of the coaches at CFA, this salad is pretty standard – except that they add a second chicken breast and subtract the cheese.
Jenn’s chicken pizza substitutes a standard crust in favor of tenderized chicken breast. It’s a protein pizza pie!
Then there are two wraps, KTK’s and McGraw’s. Packed with paleo favorites like chicken, avocado, veggies and even bacon, these goodies are wrapped in lettuce to keep the evil glutens away.
If you’re not feeling the chicken, check out the Portabella “Sam”wich. It’s a burger minus the bun, plus two portabella mushroom caps. Vegetarians rejoice, you can swap the meat for a veggie burger to make this meal suitable for your dietary needs. And if the “Sam”wich doesn’t do it for you herbivores, go for OTB’s award-winning vegetarian soup.
