All aboard The Incline! This campus favorite, nestled on the first floor of the Student Union, offers delicious food for just about any craving. They’ve got custom creations in their Build-A-Burger offering while serving up Italian favorites until late. But if you’re looking for some healthy eats, look no further than their Salads by Design. Here, you can customize all the fresh, crisp greens, reds, and oranges you want. They’ve also got a number of healthy options you score on the way to class.
Options is where you’re going and options is what you will have. From the Market Fresh salad bar to the Daily Dish, an offering of an entrée, starch, and vegetable, Options brings a lot to the table. If you’re not feeling the burrito today, go for the sushi. If the deli doesn’t strike your tastes, try one of their delicious soups, made from homemade stock.
The Reverend Sean Hogan Dining Center, affectionately known as Towers for its location, is the classic college dining hall. Here, there’s no plate limit on how much you eat, so you should know a thing or two about what’s your best bet for overall health. Sure, hashbrowns are tasty. But with a made-to-order omelet and neighboring make-your-own oatmeal station, you’re in control of a balanced plate. What’s more, Towers offers a fully customizable Mongolian grill stir fry station. Here you can load up on the veggies, lean proteins, and any number of sweet, sour, or spicy sauces.
3 finals, 2 term papers, and 1 empty stomach. You can solve one of those quickly. Campus Market (located in Towers) and Campus Market Express (conveniently in Fisher Hall) provide the clutch pick-up for a fresh snack or quick meal. They’ve got grab ‘n go salads, wraps, yogurts, fruit, even sushi. They’ve got you covered. They’re open late; so even if you’ve missed a meal, you know the Market’s open for business.
Freshëns Fresh Food Studio is your new favorite spot. They focus on unique, prepared to order food. Their stance on healthy eating and better living is apparent with their all-day menu of craveable, low-calorie eats. Key mealtime favorites include crepes, salads, frozen yogurt, and their signature fresh blended smoothies. Their home is in the Power Center. So if you’ve just worked out and are looking for something a little more hearty, try one of their rice bowls, filled with protein and vegetables.
If you’re on the Rockwell side of campus, it would mean climbing a mountain to reach the healthy offerings of Towers. But you’re in luck. Rockwell has its own market for on-the-go grub. They’re got an assortment of fruit and vegetables, offerings of protein bars, and loads of other convenient yet nutritious food you can get in a pinch.
