  • 🍹 #SoberNotBoring

Ever want to go out for a fun night with friends but without the pressure to drink? (Same.) Well, what if there was an alcohol-free option that still felt like a bar, minus the headache on Sunday morning? Enter: Austin-based Sans Bar, a fun, booze-free concept that caters to sober-curious crowds. Even better, they’re going on a 17-city tour across the US and popping up in Portland on March 7! Tickets go on sale about 45 days in advance, so mark your calendars!

  • ✨ What A Luxury

Spread the news — Life Time is finally making its way to Oregon, opening its first club in Beaverton! Plans are in the works for an incredible build-out slated for 2021 and we couldn’t be more psyched. Expect world-class trainers, a laundry list of group fitness classes, a resort-style pool, tennis courts, a cafe, and even a spa. What more could you ask for? No word on the official ribbon cutting date, but you’ll be seeing hard hats on the corner of Barnes and Cedar Hills Blvd. very soon.

  • 🍌 We’ve Reached Peak Acai

Brazilian-inspired smoothie bowl shop Carioca Bowls just dropped something for all you healthy fat, low-carb-lovers. Introducing the Keto Bowl. This crave-worthy creation starts with pure acai, then subs its classic toppings like granola and banana with avocado and toasted coconut. If that wasn’t enough, it’s finished off with a scoop of homemade cashew butter, plus two unique add-ons of your choosing.

  • 🚲 May-Rah-Kee

Look out, Hillsboro — there’s a new studio in town! Unlike a lot of local spots, it’s not just about one workout at Meraki. The fitness concept features group cycling, circuit training, and yoga classes that bring the energy and the muscle burn. No word yet on an opening date but you can stay in-the-know by giving them a follow on IG.

  • 😌 Refocus. Repair. ReBarre.

Along with giving thanks this month, how about we show our bodies some love, too? Industrial Barre + Ride is here to help! The boutique fitness studio just put their signature IBarre class on slo-mo, adding to the mix some yoga-inspired movements to help you relax and reset. What you get is a full-body, rejuvenating experience called ReBarre. Catch the new class on Friday evenings at their Irvington location and on Sundays at 4:30pm at their Sellwood spot. Sounds like the perfect detox (or should we say retox?) after a stressful week!

  • 🍯 What A Rush!

For those of you that are hopelessly addicted to smoothie bowls (same), we’ve got a new spot that you can add to your weekly (okay, daily) rotation. Healthy hot spot and all-natural blended bowl chain Rush Bowls has landed in Portland, recently opening its first area location in Hillsboro. Stop by for a classic acai bowl, or go for one of their signature creations — either way, you can expect it to be topped with organic granola and a drizzle of honey.

  • 💚 All The Love

Portland isn’t lacking when it comes to healthy restaurants, and you can add another to your list of go-to spots. Introducing G-Love, a delightful, sun-filled restaurant and self-proclaimed “reverse steakhouse” that puts locally-sourced, farm-fresh vegetables at the center of all of its dishes. They’ve only been open in the Northwest District since September 2019, but we already can’t stop craving their Spiced Oregon Hazelnuts and Little Fat Hen non-alcoholic drink made with apricot, rosemary, lemon, and ginger.
