CrossFit has made its mark on the fitness world, and it’s certainly making its mark on America’s Finest City with dozens of gyms (aka “boxes”, in the CrossFit world) holding it down around town. And we’ve rounded up our San Diego favorites so you can get your WOD in before you hit the waves.
CrossFit ATR on Pepsi Dr. was voted “San Diego’s Best CrossFit Gym” two years in a row for a reason. While the gym has all the usual CrossFit staples (barbells, gymnastic rings, and pull-up bars galore), this box goes beyond the workout, emphasizing community and culture. Which means after a particularly grueling WOD, there will be some high-fives and pats on the back waiting for you. Did we mention that the entire place is decked out in bright, graffiti-style murals. Friends, art, and sweat? Sign us up.
