News & Events

  • 🎄 Merry Sipping

There are two types of people in the world: those that love egg nog and those that can’t stand it. If you're in the first category, we’ve got some news we think you’ll be thrilled to hear! Marin Living Foods has brought back its hit holiday drink, Almond Nog, and they’re selling it on Good Eggs. Trust us — this spice-filled, almond milk vegan treat is not to be missed (and will probably sell out, so snag a bottle while you can!).

  • ✨ Be Well

All about that self-care life? Well by Caliva is here for you! The wellness-focused CBD company recently opened its first brick-and-mortar boutique in San Carlos. Pop in and peruse shelves filled with plant-based beauty products, tinctures, and more. And keep an eye on their calendar, as they plan to host special community events throughout the year, including mindful meditations, group yoga, and ayurvedic workshops. Fitt Tip: this is a great destination to pick up some gifts for your wellness-minded pals!

  • ⚡️ Smoothie Slinging In FiDi

If you live or work in the Financial District, you’ll be happy to learn that Project Juice has opened its latest location in the bustling neighborhood. This full-service cafe on Montgomery is stocked with quick-and-easy grab-and-go staples, like their pre-bottled juices, along with bowls, smoothies, hot beverages, and more. Stop by for a delicious, nourishing breakfast, a midday re-up, or an evening boost!

  • 🍽️ Dig In

After years of running a successful pop-up and catering company S+M Vegan is finally opening up a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Oakland in spring (or early summer) 2020. Inspired by bold Teochew-Singaporean flavors, Lion Dance Cafe will be dishing out a 100% plant-based menu featuring creative noodle dishes, small bites, sandwiches, milkshakes, and more. Additional details are still under wraps, so stay tuned!

  • 🔥 Castro-Based Core

The Castro has steadily transformed into a hot spot for fitness and the neighborhood will soon welcome another new name — Core MVMT. Taking over former coffee shop illy Caffé, the Pilates studio will feature two spaces, one stocked with XFormer Reformers and another dedicated to massages, yoga, meditation, and more. Thankfully, the building’s well-loved back patio will be staying put, and we can’t wait to see how they incorporate the outdoor area into the mix. It’s set to open on December 8, 2019, just in time to help you work on that post-Thanksgiving bod.

  • 🕉 Say Om

Getting a dose of rest and relaxation just got a whole lot easier. WITHIN Meditation recently expanded to a new space, and is now hosting their daily practices at Octave—a therapy and coaching practice facility—on Market St. Classes are offered throughout the day, including lunch and after-work sessions, so there’s really no excuse to take some time for yourself this week.

  • 🥕 Veggies Only

While there’s no shortage of vegan eateries in San Francisco, a 100% plant-based Filipino restaurant is a rare find, and a delicious one at that. So, we were excited to learn that Nick’s on Mission just opened their third location in the center of the city’s Filipino cultural heritage district in SoMa. Stop by and try one of their unique but breakfast and lunch options. Trust us — the Ube Pancakes are where it’s at.

  • 💛 Yoga For Everyone

Bay Area residents rejoice: Yoga to the People has opened its third SF-area location in Old Oakland. The donation-based studio welcomes people and yogis of all types of yogi to come bend, stretch, and relax. So, grab your friends and your mat and head over to check out the new spot. Who knows? Their Hot Vinyasa classes might just become your favorite way to sweat.
