We all deserve a vacay every now and then. Luckily, we’ve found a place where you can escape the stresses of city life, and you don’t even have to book a flight to get there.

Introducing Coconut Club a little slice of paradise that’s serving up beach-themed eats and drinks right around the corner from Union Market. So get ready to relax under the palm trees while you Instagram shots of cocktails served in coconuts. Your next getaway is right in your own backyard!

IF YOU LIKE PIÑA COLADAS

This sun-inspired concept was created by four-time Chopped champion and Beat Bobby Flay winner, chef Adam Greenberg, and the moment you step inside, you’ll be instantly transported to the tropics. From the pink and green palm frond mural to a disco ball-lined bar, your vacation begins with a trip to Coconut Club.

Get started with a few fresh seafood dishes like the tuna poke served with lotus root chips or the Walu Crudo that’s flown in from Hawaii every night. If you’re really craving a trip to the ocean, go for the fish tacos with mango and kohlrabi slaw or the Calamari a La Plancha with winter citrus chimichurri.

And just like any good vacation, there’s something here for everyone. Almost 70% of the menu is gluten-free, with well-marked options for vegetarians and vegans. The Hearts of Palm with avocado, blood oranges, and sunflower sprouts proves you don’t need seafood to feel like you’re at the beach. And for that fresh, out-of-the-ocean feel, try the Salt Baked Sweet Potato topped with puffed grains, hot honey, and pickled goji berries.

There’s also an entire section of the menu devoted to Spam — because you can’t channel Hawaii vibes without one of the island’s favorite comfort foods. Try it with fried rice or go all in on a Patty Melt made with gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and pickled cherry pepper relish.

VACATION VIBES

The fun doesn’t stop at the food, either. Adam designed the colorful eatery to be entertaining, bright, and welcoming — there are even outlets so you can charge your phone and ensure you'll never miss a vacay photo op.

And the large, open warehouse space is covered in twinkling party lights shining down on the tropical plants that line almost every corner. Swing from hanging bucket chairs and enjoy a curated reading section while you wait for a table, then watch your culinary experience unfold at the open kitchen.

The next time you need a break from it all, head to Coconut Club to relax, kick back, and enjoy a few moments on island time.
